<p>Mobile plant for picking up composed heaps of manure and re-depositing these in another position, pref. breaking up the heaps to ensure the whole mass is accessible to air, consists of a tracked vehicle on which a scoop is mounted on a digger and can pivot and carry out a re-treacking motion above an elevator on which is dumps the manure via a charging chute of known type, from the end of which the manure is discharged into a hopper fitted with rotating knives or cutters, below which is an arm carrying a conveyor belt of the type usual in mechanical handling equipment the discharge end of the arm pivoting laterally at least over a distance corresponding to the space between the heaps.</p> |
