The camshaft arrangement has an inner shaft (1) and a coaxially arranged outer shaft (2). Rigid cam elements (8) are non-rotatably fixed on the inner shaft and movable cam elements (9), which are limited by hinge couplings, are hinged on the inner shaft. The axial length (22) of the catch is larger than that of the recess. The axial end areas (23,24) engage neighbouring outer shaft elements.
