PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing foreign matters contained in raw algae for laver, capable of efficiently removing the small foreign matters contained in the mixture of the raw algae with water or sea water, before dry laver sheets are produced by the use of a device for producing the dry laver sheets. SOLUTION: The first case 11 is attached to the outer surface of a tank 1 for storing mixture water 23, and the second case 12 is further attached to the outer surface of the first case 11. A porous plate 15 is disposed between the tank 1 and the first case 11, and an overflow wall 20 is disposed between the first case 11 and the second case 12. When a blade is rotated to stir the mixture water 23 in the tank 1, small foreign matters K1 contained in the mixture water 23 are flowed into the first case 11 through the small holes of the porous plate 15. Lightweight foreign matters K2 floated in the first case 11 are flowed over the overflow wall 20 and further flowed into the second case 12. Thereby, the mixture water not containing the small foreign matters K1, K2 are delivered into a foreign matter-removing section B, and subsequently subjected to a treatment for removing relatively large foreign matters in the section B, thus enabling to supply the good mixture water to a device for producing dry layer sheets. |
