PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical system which is capable of keeping one or more laser signals tuned to desired wavelengths by projected optical signals. SOLUTION: An optical stabilized system is equipped with a signal source 1 connected to a transmission line 2 and a noise source 3, where the signal source 1 is equipped with a laser which generates an optical transmission signal S and operates in many laser modes in a first wavelength band. The noise source 3 is inserted into the transmission line 2 through the intermediary of a coupling means 5 and generates noise signal that is narrow in bandwidth and projected into the laser of the signal source 1. The laser is made to operate in a laser mode in a noise wavelength band by noise signal. A part of noise signal can be projected into the other laser of another signal source 9 through the intermediary of a power distributor 11. Signals out of a noise band are eliminated from transmission signals through a narrow band filter 8. A stabilized system is applied to a network terminal in a group wavelength designated optical network. |
