Hydraulic clutch control receiver, especially for motor vehicle

A hydraulic receiver consists of a fixed section formed from an inner metal guide tube (5) and an outer concentric housing (4) which form a blind annular cavity (7) designed to be fed with fluid and containing an axially moving piston (6) with a pressure element (9) designed to act on the clutch release mechanism. The base of the cavity (7) is formed by the inner rim (15) of the outer housing (4), facing towards the axis of symmetry of the guide tube. The inner rim is thicker than the wall of the guide tube and has a groove in it for a static seal (17). The outer housing (4) can be made e.g. from a moulded synthetic material, e.g. a plastics reinforced by fibres, and the piston can also be of a synthetic material.
