PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and device for three-dimensional spatial image formation which can generate a hologram at a high speed and generate a three- dimensional model by using the hologram without spoiling a stereoscopic effect. SOLUTION: A user inputs body positions through a user indication input means 51. A three-dimensional position detecting means 52 detects three- dimensional positions and reads a basic pattern out of a basic pattern table holding means 53. This basic pattern is processed by a body wave front pattern arithmetic means 55 to generate a projection pattern of a hologram at a high speed. The projection pattern is stored in a pattern storage means 56 and a hologram display is made. A projection pattern at a new indication position that a user inputs by using a three-dimensional cursor is integrated with a projection pattern of a structure which is already stored by addition or subtraction to easily perform the addition or deletion of the body. Thus, a three- dimensional model is generated while an image structure to be generated is observed with the hologram without spoiling the stereoscopic effect. |
