PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically minimize the total production cost inclusive of an operation cost without degrading the quality of crude steel by determining a variable to reduce the operation cost as low as possible within prescribed restriction conditions by executing calculation many times while successively changing the compounding ratio of respective kinds of the scrap as the variable. SOLUTION: The use ratios of respective kinds of the scrap to minimize the desired function expressed by the equation are determined within the restriction conditions to be described afterward in order to minimize the operation cost S. In the equation, xi is the compounding consumption unit (t/t) of respective kinds of the scrap, ci is the costs (yen/t) of respective kinds of the scrap, Δci is the cost difference between respective kinds of the scrap. The calculation is executed by taking both of experience and theoretical prediction into consideration relating to the pluses and minuses, such as iron yield and operation consumption unit when the scrap is actually used. While the cheap scrap is basically used, the chemical components, actual operative range and purchasable quantity threshold of the scrap are the restriction conditions. These conditions are considered and are taken into the arithmetic system. |
