A method of uprooting or displacing trees comprising the step of digging a trench (1) around the root system and cutting the roots to prepare a ball of earth (3) to be dug up together with the tree (2). A pull type anchor (4) is brought into the ground at a plurality of locations distributed around the prepared ball of earth (3) or ball of earth (3) to be prepared. A hardenable substance is injected through injection openings provided in those parts of the anchors (4) which extend downwardly beyond said ball of earth (3), while interconnecting the upper end portions of the anchors (4), which extend above the earth's surface, to form a lifting ring that surrounds the trunk of the tree (2). <IMAGE> |
