FIELD: laying devices. SUBSTANCE: azimuth device drive uses a tapered reduction gear hinge-joined to the turret upper race, worm reduction gear suspended from the bracket of the turret movable platform with employment of a ball bearing. The output shaft of the tapered reduction gear is coupled to the input shaft of the worm reduction gear through a cardan shaft, whose protective casing is used to prevent rotation of the body of the worm reduction gear relative to the turret. To reduce the error of manufacture and simplify the mounting, the casing is made of two parts movable relative to each other and hinge-joined to the bodies of the tapered and worm reduction gears. The body of the worm reduction gear serves as a base for attachment of the laying device. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
