<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the information of a radar image sufficiently by pertorming magnification in the azimuth direction for a radar receiving signal satisfying specified conditions. SOLUTION: An azimuth magnification means 18 reads out a large amplitude signal from a large amplitude signal frame memory means 17, filters the large amplitude signal to magnify the image in the azimuth direction and writes a resulting 'magnified image signal' into a magnified image frame memory means 19. A data written into a standard image frame memory means 15 and the magnified image frame memory means 19 is read out according to an address value generated from a read address generating means 16 and synthesized by an image synthesizing means 20. The image synthesizing means 20 synthesizes a standard image signal and a magnified image signal read out, respectively, from the standard image frame memory means 15 and the magnified image frame memory means 19 to generate a display video signal.</p> |
