PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature-controlling device for properly controlling the temperature of a food material contained in a storing chamber. SOLUTION: The atmosphere temperature (ta1 ) of a food material is derived on the basis of the change with time of a detection temperature (tb A) detected by a temperature sensor installed in a storing chamber (step 302) and the temperature (tc1 ) of the food material is derived from the atmosphere temperature (ta1 ) (step 306). The value of the derived food material temperature (tc1 ) is displayed on a food material temperature indicator (308). When the temperature (ta1 ) of the food material is lower than the lower limit (tmin1 ) or higher than the upper limit ((tmax1 ), an alarm is warned with sound (steps 310, 312). The value (a) in the formula is a constant decided by the places on which the food material is placed and to which the temperature sensors are set in the chamber and the values C and K represent the heat capacity and the heat loss coefficient of the food material, respectively. |
