PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge effectively excavation soil and sand in the shield chamber in an inexpensive and simple structure by conducting soil discharge from a plurality of mud discharge ports provided at the lower part of a bulkhead simultaneously or in a switch-control operation. SOLUTION: A mud delivery port 26 is formed at the upper part of a bulkhead 24 of a shield excavator main body 10 for executing excavation of a deformed cross-sectional tunnel, which is then connected to a mud delivery pipe arranged in the excavator main body 10. Also, at the lower part of the bulkhead 24, a plurality of mud discharge ports 28a-28c are formed in the lateral direction to subsequently be connected to mud discharge pipes arranged in the excavator 10 respectively. Mud discharge is implemented by the plural mud discharge ports 28a-28c through simultaneous or changeable control, thereby forming a plurality of muddy water conduit. In this manner, muddy water is stirred with ease, so that muddy water can be discharged effectively from various position in the shield chamber. |
