PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely inform a customer of operation contents on insertion or reception of mediums when the customer uses various medium such as a bankbook and paper money to perform a transaction with respect to an automatic transaction device like an automatic teller machine. SOLUTION: This automatic transaction device 1 is provided with plural medium insertion/ejection holes for insertion and election of plural kinds of mediums, a picture display device which indicates operation methods to the customer, and functions which automatically perform a prescribed transaction in accordance with customer's operation. When the customer uses this automatic transaction device to perform a transaction, a picture representing the automatic transaction device 1 is displayed on the screen of the picture display device, and a picture representing the state of insertion of a prescribed medium to the automatic transaction device or a picture prepersenting the state of ejection of a prescribed medium from the automatic transaction device is displayed in accordance with contents of the transaction, and an indication about the operation is given to the customer by the direction and the movement of the picture representing the prescribed medium. |
