The present invention relates to an anode for thermally activated reserve batteries employing a thin film-type metal foam and a cup. Provided is a method for manufacturing an anode for thermally activated reserve batteries employing a cup and a thin film-type metal foam made of lithium using lithium with very excellent capacity and output characteristics as an anode for thermal batteries used in a high-temperature environment, the method comprising the steps of: rolling a metal foam; coating the metal foam with a melted eutectic salt; impregnating the metal foam with lithium; and manufacturing an anode for reserve batteries by mounting an electrode cup and a conductive separation membrane on the metal foam. |
