PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make us confirm the effect of a prior standby function by diocriminating a standby status by detecting a user getting into a standby elevator and by displaying a ratio of prior standby calls to all landing calls. SOLUTION: A service status monitoring device 6 receives the status of call and the information of car position from an elevator controller 3 and judges if the floor where an elevator user gets into the elevator agrees with the floor where the elevator stands by and calculates on the basis of the results of judgment the ratio of landing calls when the elevator stands by at the landing floor before the elevator user appears in the landing hall to all landing calls and outputs the results of calculation by an indicating device 7 like a display or a printer. The function of the service status monitoring device 6 may be provided in the elevator controller 3 and call registration information may be directly received from a landing button or a car button.
