摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a highly efficient engine operation by providing an inverter with a torque command value for a first electric rotating machine determining the r.p.m. of an engine and a torque command value for a second electric rotating machine determining the drive power of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The hybrid controller 16 operates a first torque command value for a first electric rotating machine 2000 based on an engine r.p.m. command value based on the characteristics of an engine 1 and information related to the engine r.p.m. and then operates a second torque command value for a second electric rotating machine 3000 based on the first torque command and a vehicle drive torque command value. The first and second torque command values are delivered to an inverter 14 in order to control torque of the first and second electric rotating machines 2000, 3000. According to the arrangement, operation of the engine 1 can be sustained at a point determined by an engine controller 13 to keep the engine 1 in best conditions with regard to fuel consumption and emission.
