PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the change, addition, etc., of internal programs of IC cards by adding a cipher processing function and a program code conversion function to a program containing an IC card and also adding a program write memory to a write control program. SOLUTION: An external instruction is given to a microprocessor 1 of an IC card via a connection part 2, and the microprocessor 1 works in response to the instruction. A write command is previously built into an IC card function program 3A which starts a write control program 3B by an external write instruction. A cipher decoding function is added to the program 3B. Thus, a ciphered command, the data, a cipher key, etc., are necessary for the communication with the IC card after the program 3B is started. Then the programs and the data are written into a write memory 4. |
