PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively damp vibrations of a lower frequency range with a precision-instrument mount of a simple structure and reduce its installation space. SOLUTION: An engaging rod 26a projecting from the underside of an instrument mount plate 20 on which a precision instrument is mounted is inserted into the engaging recess of a vibration-control member of which plate part is fitted on a bottom plate 10a of a mount body. The vibration-control member thus arranged efficiently damps vibrations applied from the floor to a case 10, in particular, those of a lower frequency range. The resin cylindrical reservoir of the vibration-control member is filled with highly viscous fluid such as silicon resin. Which arrangement lessens the transmission of vibrations to a precision instrument mounted on the instrument mount plate 20 to thereby ensure the precise operation of the precision instrument. |
