WET TACKY COMPOSITIONS, PLASTER PATCHES COMPRISING THE SAME, AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME

Wet tacky compositions containing, as a component A, at least one member selected from the group consiting of polyvinylpyrrolidone, vinylpyrrolidone/vinyl, acetate copolymers, polyethylene oxide and half esters of methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymers; as a component B a liquid plasticizer compatible with the component A; and, as a component C, a filler. Owing to the combined use of the component C with the components A and B, such a composition shows a tackiness in the presence of water or hydrophilic media, well adheres to the site to which it is applied, is quickly dried after the application, and gives a dry film which has a high mechanical strength and can be easily peeled off. These characteristics make it useful in, for example, agents for removing keratotic plugs formed in pores to be used in cosmetic packs such as those of the peel-off type and skin covering materials to be applied to wet or moist skin.
