PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable auto mounting regardless of thickness of a printed wiring board by inserting a body unit upward into a cutout portion provided on the printed wiring board and supporting a lower portion of the body unit with it protruded downward of the printed wiring board by means of a step portion protruded on a side face of the body unit. SOLUTION: This connector for board mounting comprises: a body unit 21 composed of jack or plug and capable of being inserted from the top into a cutout portion 11 provided on a printed wiring board 10, board loading step portions 22' protruded on a side face of the body unit 21, abutting with a top face of the printed wiring board 10 with the body unit 21 inserted into the cutout portion of the printed wiring board 10, and supporting the body unit 21 with a lower portion of the body unit 21 protruded downward of the printed wiring board 10, and a positioning protrusion portion 23 inserted into through holes 13, 13 provided on the top face of the printed wiring board 10 with these step portions 22' and 22' abut with the top face thereof. |
