PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the operation stop time of store business at the occurance of a fault and to execute restoration by easy operation by automatically restoring operation up to the state before the occurance of a fault at the time of restoring the fault of a server machine without stopping the service operation of a POS terminal and restoring the server machine to normal operation. SOLUTION: Respective POS terminals 2, 3 are provided with respective means capable of independently executing selling operation only for respective POSs. Thereby the terminals 2, 3 respectively include commodity information 7, 9 in their insides and include also storage parts for storing sales information 8, 10 in the terminals 2, 3, and even when the server machine 1 is stopped, the terminals 2, 3 can be independently operated. The server machine 1 is provided with an operation management storing means 4 to manage operation states and use the operation states for indexes at the time of automatic restoration. While holding the consistency of the sales information 8, 10 by turning on/off a power supply for the server machine 1, totalizing business and other business can be automatically restored up to the business state before the occurance of abnormality. |
