PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure cooked rice for a long time without deterioration of taste by providing means for supplying carbon dioxide to keep the inside space of a container in an atmosphere of carbon dioxide at all times in keeping the cooked rice at the temp. suitable to eat. SOLUTION: This device 20 comprises a container body 13 with an inner container accommodating cooked rice, a cover covering an opening of the body 13, a carbon dioxide supplier 21 supplying carbon dioxide into the container 2 while being disposed outside of the cover 14. The supplier 21 is composed of a gas cartridge 7 being a carbon dioxide supply source, a supply pipe 9 being an introduction member leading carbon dioxide in the cartridge 7 into the body 13 while being disposed between them 7, 13, a gas sensor detecting concentration of carbon dioxide or oxygen in the inner space of the container 2, and a regulation valve 9a controlling supply/stoppage of carbon dioxide. |
