Mould separating agent

Mould separating agent for forming a separating layer between a surface to be cast and a solvent-containing casting agent consisting of a binder (12) and particulate filler, comprises an excess of particulate filler (13) to binder (12), so that the binder (12) of the separating agent (10) contains only a small amount of the particulate filler (13). By dissolving the casting agent the content of the particulate filler affecting the binder can be dissolved so that a powder intermediate layer is formed between the surface to be cast and the casting agent. Also claimed is a casting process, in which the above casting agent is applied to a surface structure to be cast on a substrate. Before applying the casting agent, a mould separating agent (10) is applied to the surface structure.
