PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake outdoor hood that can surely prevent powder snow from entering when the outdoor air is taken in by operating a heat exchange type ventilator. SOLUTION: An air intake pipe 14 in a wall 12 communicates with an air intake path 1 of a main body 10 of a heat exchange type ventilator and an outdoor hood 25 having an air intake opening 22 leading to the air intake pipe 14 is attached on the outside of the air intake pipe 14. As the air intake opening 22 is covered with a snow arresting net 23, powder snow is prevented form being sucked indoor even when the main body 10 of the heat exchange type ventilator is operated in a cold district under such a weather condition as a blizzard or a snowstorm. |
