<p>The present invention relates to a method for the maintenance of cultivated turf, wherein said method comprises irrigating the turf twice a day after seeding. The first cut is performed when the grass is from 8 to 10 cm high, and the last at height of 4 - 7 cm when the grass reaches a height not exceeding 12 cm. Damaged sections of the surface are repaired on a regular basis by adding and raking a repair soil mixture, earth, sand or mixtures thereof that contain grass seeds. This repair soil mixture includes the following components in wt.%: from 60 to 80 % of sandy or clayey soil or black earth; from 10 to 35 % of peat; the balance being sawdust.</p> |
