COLOR CHANGEABLE MICROCAPSULE-CONTAINING DISPERSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dispersion excellent in change of color free from unevenness of color tone, capable of exhibiting these effects for a long period of time, containing a specific color changeable microcapsule and a prescribed component in a water-based parent base. SOLUTION: This dispersion contains (A) a color changeable microcapsule obtained by coating a core part comprising a gelatinous polyurethane resin containing a photochromic substance (preferably a spiropyran) with a shell part composed of a polyurethane resin and (B) an aqueous emulsion (preferably an aqueous emulsion of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer resin) of a water-soluble polyurethane resin (preferably a resin obtained by blocking a terminal isocyanate of a reaction product of a polyether polyol and a diisocyanate). The component A is preferably obtained by dissolving a polyfunctional isocyanate, a water-insoluble polyol and a catalyst in the photochromic substance to give an oil phase, emulsifying the oil phase into water containing an emulsifying agent and reacting the components in an oil drop interface and in the interior of the oil drop.
