This method and device excite fluid media mechanically, to produce spherical droplets from nozzles, which are hardened into spherical granules. Oscillations are transmitted into the fluid, only just ahead of the nozzle outlets so that only a small mass of fluid is set into oscillation. The oscillations are transmitted either directly, or through an elastic element, into the fluid.
