PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a journal bearing in which manufacturing is easy and a like is extended by improving retainability of lubricating oil. SOLUTION: The journal bearing 1 comprises a bush 3 and a bush 5 into which the bush 3 is press fitted. In the bush 3, a circular hole 9 and slit 11 for retaining the lubricating oil is formed on an end surface of the bush 3 so as not to open to the exterior. In the boss 5, a through-hole 17 is formed for injection of lubricating oil to the circular hole 9 and slit 11 formed in the bush 3.
