This invention concerns an arrangement for determining differences in rpm between two exhaust gas turbochargers (6, 8, 7, 9) of an internal combustion engine (1) comprised of two separate cylinder banks (2, 3). This arrangement consists of a device (23, 24) which determines the difference between the pressures in both exhaust gas tracts (4, 5) of the two cylinder banks (2, 3) upstream of the exhaust gas turbines (6, 7) and signals a relevant rpm-deviation, if the pressure difference exceeds a pre-set threshold.
