PURPOSE:To recovery unconverted reducing agent by providing an unconverted agent supply device and a reduction device, a casing in which an adsorbing zone and a regenerative zone are partitioned inside, a heated exchanger which connects to an adsorber on the downstream side from the reduction device, and connecting an air supply device to the heat exchanger and providing a recovery pipe on the adsorber. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas purification device 10 is applicable to the exhaust system of a diesel engine 70, and it is constituted of a reduction device 11, a reducing agent supply device 12, an adsorber 13, a heat exchanger 14, an air supply device 15, a recovery pipe 16, a branched exhaust pipe 17, the exhaust changeover device 18, and a computer 19 which controls the reduction supply device 12, the adsorber 13, the air supply device 15 and the exhaust gas changeover device 18, in response to rotational speed, load and temperature of exhaust gas of a diesel engine 70. Consequently, NOx included in the exhaust gas and discharged from the diesel engine 70 is treated in reduction by the reducing agent, the exhaust gas is cooled in the heat exchanger 14, the unconverted reducing agent is recovered in the reduction device 11 and utilized so as to suppress a consumption quantity of the reducing agent. |
