<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer speedily corresponding to the change of the data reloading method for a nonvolatile memory and reducing a chip area in the microcomputer incorporating the nonvolatile memory repeatedly writing and reading data and electrically erasing written data. SOLUTION: When a program instruction starting the write of data is read out from the address area A of EEPROM 1, EEPROM 1 is set to be in a writing mode and data of a latch circuit 6 is written in an address area B designated by a latch circuit 4. At this time, CPU 2 continues to execute the program instruction to stop the value of a program counter 3 so that the influence of the indefinite output of the terminal DOUT of EEPROM 1 can be neglected and malfunction is prevented.</p> |
