Up-and-over door

The door (1) has armour slats (2) travelling up and down in the doorway, with slat rollers (22) working in fixed guides (3) in the building. The rollers fit in C-section rails forming the tracks. The door can be driven by an angular mounting (7) enclosing the outside of a guide rail, on which there can be a bracket securing it to a fixed door-frame. The bracket typically consisting of a profiled rail parallel to the guide rail. The guide rail can be in two profiled sections detachably secured together at the back. It can be formed by an extruded aluminium profile.
