PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top ventilator opening and closing device using a rack and pinion mechanism capable of simply performing engagement and positioning. SOLUTION: A rack engaged with the pinion 4 of the rack and pinion mechanism 3 is slidably supported to a rack case and one tip of the rack is pivotally attached to the top ventilator which is opened and closed freely. In addition, the pinion 4 is freely rotatably mounted to the pinion case 5 of the rack and pinion mechanism 3 which is freely attached or detached to/from the rack case 7, and a rectangular hole 4c detent-restraining a rectangular axis for driving the pinion is formed to the axis center of the pinion 4. |
