摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a precise shape control of a metallic material in a feedback system by using the difference between measured tension distribution in the width direction of a strip detected on the outlet side of the pass and the measured tension distribution at the inlet side of the following pass. SOLUTION: The tension distribution in the width direction of the strip 10 is detected by providing a shape-meter 20 at the left reel 16 in a reversible rolling mill. First, the rolling reduction is executed with a roll bender 30 by using the inlet side tension distribution obtd. with the shape-meter 20 at the first pass. In the second pass, the outlet side shape is measured with the shape-meter 20 to execute the rolling reduction condition with the rolling bender 30. At the same time, a position of the longitudinal direction of a coil is measured with a pulse generator 26 to store the outlet side shape distribution. In the third pass, the outlet side tension distribution stored at the second pass is deducted from the inlet side tension distribution measured at the third pass, and the feedback control is executed only for the inlet side tension distribution at the first pass appeared as a replica of the outlet side shape at the third pass. By this method, even when the strip shape at the inlet side is not flat, the inlet side tension distribution developed in the rolling can precisely be measured.</p>
