<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain to a minimum increase of the number of hits due to a beam steering angle produced against a radar antenna at changing an operation mode or generating fluctuation, and prevent searching performance from degrading, in a phased array radar device having searching and tracking function. SOLUTION: According to the operation mode of a phased array radar device, an antenna tilt angle control unit 10 outputs antenna tilt angles previously set for respective antenna planes to an antenna tilt angle drive unit 9. The antenna tilt angle drive unit 9 drives the antenna planes according to the tilt angles for respective antenna planes. Hereby, increase of the number of hits due to a beam steering angle is restrained to a minimum, and a frame time is prevented from extending. Hereby the radar performance is prevented from degrading.</p> |
