<p>The invention provides compounds of formula (I) wherein R?1 and R2¿ independently represent Cl or C¿1-6? alkyl; R?3¿ represents XCO¿2R?4, XCONHSO¿2R?5, YNHSO¿2?R?5 or XR6; R4¿ represents H or C¿1-6? alkyl (optionally substituted by aryl or heterocyclyl); R?5¿ represents CF¿3?, heterocyclyl or C1-6 alkyl (optionally substituted by aryl or heterocyclyl); R?6¿ represents an acidic heterocycle; X represents a C¿1-6? alkyl diradical (optionally substituted by aryl or heterocyclyl); and Y represents a C2-6 alkyl diradical (optionally substituted by aryl or heterocyclyl); provided that when R?1 and R2¿ each represent Cl, then R3 does not represent CH¿2?CO2H, CH2CO2CH3, CH2CH2NHSO2CF3 or 5-tetrazolylmethyl; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds are indicated as anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, analgesics and neuroprotectives.</p> |
