<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate setting of detection reference level in a clutch position detector by constructing such that disengagement of clutch is judged through comparison between an output from a clutch position sensor and a reference level for judging disengagement of clutch set through a means for setting the reference level. CONSTITUTION:A clutch position sensor 2 detects the length of stroke of clutch pedal. Then it is compared with a reference level for judging disengagement of clutch set through a means 3 for setting the reference level so as to judge whether a clutch 1 is disengaged. The reference level setting means 3 is arranged near the driver seat and used for setting the reference level necessary for judging disengagement of clutch. Setting is modified when clutch disengaging stroke changes due to fluctuation or aging. Consequently, the reference level can be set accurately and easily at any time corresponding to variation of clutch disengagement stroke.</p> |
