PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a toner layer from being formed in a gap on the side of the opening of a toner container, out of the gaps made between a developing sleeve and a magnetic-substance sealing member, and to prevent a toner leakage which is caused by the formation of the toner layer. SOLUTION: A member 17 for scraping up toner is arranged in contact with the surface of the developing sleeve 5. By being arranged upstream from a latent-image developing area on a photoreceptive drum 1 for example, that is, near the exit g1 of the gap(g) of a magnetic seal, this member 17 scrapes up toner which flows out from the gap(g) as the developing sleeve 5 rotates. |
