PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable accurate danger-free measurement of cell functions with a simpler operation than ever. SOLUTION: A material inducing production of at least one cytokine (e.g. chitosan or a chitosan derivative) among a tumor necrosis factorα, interleukin-1βand interleukin-6 in blood and an anti-blood coagulation agent (heparin sodium) are made possible to come into contact with the blood in this reactor the inside of which is reduced in pressure. This measuring kit comprises the reactor for measuring cell functions and a reagent which allows the determination of the amount of cytokine induced.
