摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a ball to fly at a good trajectory without the excessively high or low flight of the hit ball by setting the positions where a kick point and the torsional rigidity in a circumferential direction are lowest at the positions of the specific length from the front end with respect to the entire length of the shaft and setting making these positions approximately coincident with each other. SOLUTION: The shaft 15 of the golf club formed by using the shaft 15 made of a fiber reinforced resin is molded to a convergent taper shape from the base end on a grip side toward the front end on a head side and the kick point is set in the position of 30 to 50% from the front end of the overall length of the shaft 15. The position where the torsional rigidity in the circumferential direction is made coincident approximately with the kick point. Namely, prepreg sheets which constitute angle layers 33, 35 and are formed by doubling carbon fibers and impregnating these fibers with a thermosetting synthetic resin are formed to a shape largely notching the part corresponding to the kick point from leftward and rightward to inward, by the fiber quantity in the part corresponding to the kick point is relatively decreased.</p>
