The device is designed for printing of information on discrete carriers of standardized form such as bank cheques, invoices, pools forms, etc. It includes an H-shaped supporting structure made of two side plates (1) fixed to a lateral beam (2) parallel to which are mounted a front (3) and rear (4) guiding axle and an U-shaped toothed rack (5) in which a belt transmission is fitted. By the transmission the motion from first motor is transmitted to a carriage (11) fitted under the toothed rack (5), the printing head (12) being fixed to the lower part of the carriage (11) around which head (12) a cassette with an inked tape (13) is fitted. At a preset distance from the printing head (12) a part (21) is fitted having the form of a parallelepiped mounted by means of two eccentric studs (22) to the lower front of the lateral beam (2). An upper sector with intaking slope (23), middle operating sector (24) and lower sector with intaking slope (25) are machined on the surface of the part (21) fitted opposite the printing head (12). A shaft (28) rests over the lateral beam (2) between the two plates (1) of the supporting structure with a rubber bushing (29) fixed on its middle part which is connected to the shaft of a second motor./!
