PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility that the individual possessor of an electronic money system is involved in the crime such as the seizure of an electronic money. SOLUTION: A security lock mechanism is adopted for electronic money, the access of an electronic money IC card 1 is inhibited when the lock mechanism is operated and the release is performed by using an exclusive system after the lock mechanism is operated. The access inhibiting method is realized by including the operations to inhibit all the accesses of the electronic money IC card, to give an alarm when the download access from a center is performed and to inhibit the electronic money download from the center, etc. As a result, the danger that the possessor of the electronic money IC card 1 is involved in a crime such as the seizure of electronic money is reduced and the possessor can suffer lightly from the crime even if he encounters the crime. |
