PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means in which any transmitter does not notify a receiver of the invalidity of received data at the time of disconnecting a line and the switch controller controlling the line directly notifies the receiver of the invalidity. SOLUTION: At the inside of an optical switch device 100, an optical transmitter 120 is provided. A switch controller 111 controls the optical transmitter 120 within this optical device and an optical switch having one or more multicast possible dummy ports at an input port. By this control, a receiver becomes possible to be connected with the transmitter 120 within the optical device transmitting a control code in real time at the time of disconnecting the line and the reception of invalid data by the receiver becomes possible to be prevented. The extra signal lines and communication processings between the switch controller 111 and the transmitter 120 are not required and the control is simplified.
