The fuel tank (1) has a pressure-proof tank wall, a device filling the tank with fuel (2) and a device for discharging the fuel out of the tank. The discharging device has at least one line (6) rising in the fuel tank and having an open end (10) arranged at an area (11) at the lowest position of the fuel tank. Liquid and residual dirt accumulate in that area. The line has a funnel section (9) formed at the narrowest place of the open end. Above the end (10), two line sections divert from the funnel section, which respectively lead to a combustion device outside the fuel tank. A mechanism is provided for the removal of fuel out of the fuel tank, in the event that the pressure exceeds a limiting pressure.
