摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive improvement in stability of a wire material as well as to prevent the deterioration in efficiency of the wire material by a method wherein, when the pressure more than the frictional force is applied to the wire material when it is being wound, a roller having the Young's modulus of elasticity, with which the local surface pressure of the wire material part working on the wire material can be brought down less than the maximum electromagnetic force, is used. CONSTITUTION:A large frictional force is generated when a superconductive wire 2 is shifted in axial direction. Therefore, it is necessary that an axial-direction pressing roller 4 presses the wire material with the force larger than the frictional force. A large stress is locally applied to the contact point of the roller and the wire material, and there is a possibility of deteriorating the intrinsic efficiency of the superconductive wire material remarkably. When the force in radial center direction of a guide roller 3 and tension T is set at FR, the frictional force Ff when the superconductive wire is shifted to the axial direction becomes Ff 0.3FR or thereabout, and the load in axial direction Fz is to be set at Fz>Ff. It is unnecessary that the local surface pressure P0 at the contact point of the wire material and the roller, when loaded at Fz, is brought to sigmaz or above, if the maximum electromagnetic force in axial direction when the coil is excited is set at sigmaz (sg/mm<2>), it must be at the value approximate to sigmaz.
