PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To send a caller telephone number or the like to a called telephone set together with incoming call information by configuring the terminal set in a way that when a message in communication connection information is received during an incoming state, a ringer tone with a different tone quality from a usual ringer tone is sounded. SOLUTION: When a called terminal equipment detects it that an incoming call comes to its own station in the standby state, the terminal equipment retrieves sub-address data and discriminates the presence of a message from a caller terminal equipment. If the message from the caller terminal equipment is in existence, a ringer tone is generated for a prescribed time from a ringer speaker 8. In this case, a tone in different tone color from that of a ringer tone at usual dialing is generated. Then a message from the sub-address in setup message is analyzed and displayed on a display device 12. |
