<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operation efficiency by judging the skillfulness of a user and providing a changeable guide input function matching the skillfulness. SOLUTION: Time intervals of input by a keyboard or a pointing device such as a mouse are measured to judge that the skillfulness of a user about this device is low when the time intervals are long and high when short. Namely, the time of 1st input by the keyboard or pointing device is denoted as t1. Then the time of 2nd input is denoted as t2. The value obtained subtracting t1 from t2 is a time interval. Thus, the skillfulness of the user is determined and then the guide input function matching the skillfulness is selected and provided. In this case, the guide input function automatically shows the contents of operation to be done next by the user according to a judgement by the device itself without depending upon key operation by the user.</p> |
