<p>An uncoated diffusion screen for lighting systems comprises a colourless, transparent copolyamide opt. blended with homo-polyamide(s), the copolyamide having Tg 170 degrees C or above and being prepd. from: (a) a 6-24C cycloaliphatic diamine; (b) an equimolar amt. of an 8-16C aromatic dicarboxylic acid; and (c) up to 20 mol.% other polyamide-forming monomers, pref. 1-20 mol.% lactam or omega -aminocarboxylic acid or an equimolar mixt. of an aliphatic diamine and a 6-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid. Also claimed are lighting systems, esp. for land-, air- and water transport.</p> |
