<p>Process for treating a diabetic patient. The process comprises administering to the patient a DNA segment which includes a glucokinase gene and a promotor sequence. In the DNA segment, the promotor sequence is operatively linked to the glucokinase gene and is efficient for the expression of a therapeutically efficient quantity of glucokinase in the diabetic patient.</p> |
