摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce error stably in the measurement of azimuth by detecting the mean timing difference between a pulse group and each amplitude component of sample hold signal every period and then correcting the azimuth of that period. SOLUTION: A square characteristics circuit 1 extracts the square component of individual pulse space Ti from the branched output of a detector 11 and then it is integrated by an integration circuit 2. The integrated square components are outputted while being reset at a period T corresponding to 1 cycle of the envelope of pulse group. Based on the integrated value, an operating circuit 3 determines the mean timing difference Td between the amplitude component of pulse group and the amplitude component of each sample hold signal and output the mean timing difference Td after converting into a corrected azimuthθ(=2πTd/T). An azimuth indicator 4 having a correction mechanism 41 corrects the azimuth measurement signal from a phase measuring circuit 15 with an inputted correction azimuthθand visualizes the azimuth measurement signal. According to the system, azimuth measurement error can be reduced stably even when a sample hold signal is generated from a pulse group including random elements and passed through a band filter.
